We are from New York USA our favourite restaurant back home is the Russian Tea House renowned for it's great food.
We heard about Beluccis from some friends who were so taken by the food that they could not stop raving about the fantastic expierence.
We were greeted by the hosted and we told him about our friends expierence.
We indulged and had the Leg of lamb and the Paella.Sensational, unbelievable and the most wonderful meal we have ever had.New York will hear abut it.We thought we had the best meals at the Tea house but this was another level.
We had a brief talk with Belucci about his food and there was no end to his passion ,exitement and the enthusiasm.
A very rare trait these days.
To see someone who cares so much must deserve the best of business

We have friends who have been boasting about Beluccis for a long time ,though we live in Port Melbourne and have been driving past for the last few years, never had a chance to dine but this time decided to check it out.
We love our food and will travel far and wide to experience the pleasure of enjoying an enticing meal.Here we got it all.
The flavour,the presentation,the taste and the passion.It is almost a chore to find a place where you feel at home.
For Entree we shared the crispy white bait the most amazing one we ever had.I would love to know how they make it so crisp.The flavor........
Main course: I had their famous signature dish Leg of lamb.I could have even chewed the bone.When taste cant be described in words then the only way is to try it.Absolutely indescribable.
My partner had Venison in red wine and muscat jus.I had to try it we both agreed that taste was delicate ,delicious and texture tender.
The dessert: The Tiramisu wow................
The best part.No salt and pepper on the table food cooked to perfection.

Exceptional food,friendly service and wonderful place to dine in.
Our first time and wont be the last.We discovered Beluccis on Menulog and was very impressed with the reviews and certainly our expectations lived up to it.
We dined last Saturday night.Greeted and welcomed by a very friendly young man.
We ordered two main dishes to share.The Special, Wild Hare slow braised in citrus jus with cinnamon$35.00.One of the most astonishing meals I have ever had.My wife had the Seared Scallops with chillie Moreton Bay Bugs.Beautifully presented,massive seafood meal for $35.00.Fresh and delicious
This is what I call value for money.
The only comment I have which was not pleasant was a noisy and very disturbing large table.I wish some people have the courtesy to respect others pleasure.
The waiter was very concerned and apologised for the tables behavior.
Fantastic evening will recommend without hesitation.

It had been a long since we were at Beluccis.The magic is still there with added flare.The warm welcome by the man and a great new ambience was enough to feel at home.
We had a wonderful night.
I had an amazing Wild boar Loin chop with tuscan sweet pepper tapanade"Exquisite" and my wife choose Mussel and prawn Linguine alio olio from the new Cafe menu "delicious "an added value for money meals for $13,$16 and $18 .
A great idea in these tough economic times.

Extremely disappointed with Beluccis as the man who runs the restaurant is charming and charismatic but you are pushed to order immediately, rather than relax and take your time. Special occasion for us and we wanted to sit close to one another but were told adamantly by staff to move! Never return to this restaurant again. (Steven Dawes - April, 2009)

I am sorry that you were disappointed. I have a problem, we cant seem to locate your booking and my wife the co owner of the the restaurant cannot recall moving a table and rushing you to order.
A bit more detail would have helped with your criticism.

Our experience absolutely wonderful the best.
These days it is hard to find where costumer satisfaction is always on top of the list.We were very impressed the way we were treated.
Our friends recommended Beluccis and we will be doing the same without hesitation.
The menu is wonderful with a variety of different dishes.We had the special Cajun Pork rib steak.It was amazing infusions of flavours and a perfect taste and texture.My wife had the fresh baby calamari pan seared with lime and garlic wonderful as I was told.
Let me not forget.The Sunset sensational.

We frequent Beluccis and can say with conviction that this must be one of the very few restaurants which are consistent without fail.
Last night we went with another couple and had a ball.
Again delicious food and great friendly service.
One of the great things we like is the Belucci's welcome by the man himself.

These sort are comment are not appreciated and considered not geniune and seems to hold malace of some sort.
If you were truly not happy you could have told me or my other half Kayleen.
I am surprised that being so unhappy and you still did not bring it to our notice and paid for such a dissapointing evening.We take a lot of pride in what we do and according to majority of our customers we do a good job

I booked a dinner for 2 at Belucci's through Menulog for my wife and I to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and could not have been more satisfied with our experience. From the moment we were greeted warmly at the front entrance, to the service of our exquisite (and very competitively priced!) meals, to the old european style dining ambience and beautiful Melbourne bayside views. Thankyou so much for creating a memorable and romantic evening we will never forget :-) (March, 2009)

A fantastic night out!
My wife and I decided to pop in to Belucci's after many months of driving by and telling one other that we "have to try that place one day". We were pleasantly surprised by the warmth and efficiency of the staff, they seated a couple of blow-ins without any fuss. The menu, although not extensive, provides plenty of choice for any number of visits. I chose the seafood paella and my wife had the porterhouse steak special, both were fantastic and we both coveted the other's dish. The desert menu offers a number of different cakes and sweet treats, I opted for the chocolate mousse while my wife chose the lemon curd tart, these were also fantastic! My wife was full half way through her tart so I had a fair portion of that too, yum! (Nick - See my reviews (3) - March, 2009)

From the moment we walked in we were immediently impressed by the friendly & efficient staff. The restaurant has a relaxed, intimate feel with awesome bay views. This is exactly what we saw on Valentines day at Beluccis.
I thought it is important that I share my experience with others.At some restaurants it is not all about money but about making the customer feel very special.
The restaurant was comfortably full not crowded and ticking like a clock.Brisk and meticoluos service unbeleviably great food and electric atmosphere.
Great Opera singers serenading the lovers at each table and creating dream like ambience.
Not only all this but also meeting and the man behind all this passionate establishment "Belucci" himself.
It was so fantastic to meet the Chef and owner Belucci come and talk to all his guest and share there excitement.
What more can I say, go see for yourself 10/10

My wife had an amazingl dish on special.
Blue Eye fish fillet with seared Moreton bay bugs finished of with lime curd.In her words" Exceptional"
I had the wet Aged Wagu Eye fillet med.rare.Wo.......................wwww,never have had a steak so tender, tasty and succelent.I am used to a steak knife and here I did not find one nor did they have one.
I was very curious to know how they age and cure the steak and was very surprised when I was greeted by Belucci himself.
It was amazed to know that Long fillet steak are first cured with lime salt and hops then hung for 2 days.Then again rubbed with olive leaf extract and lemon juice.
Then again hung dried for a week.
This is mind blowing.

Delicious food and great service.Beluccis was recommended to us by our friends who visited the restaurant for a function last month and could not stop raving about it.
So we decided to check it out.
Unforgetable Wagu steak and and tender aromatic fore quater leg of lamb.
This is an exellent example of a great restaurant with no pretence.Specially when the Chef owner and his best half is at your service personally.

From what I tried:
A+: very fresh oyster.
A: wagyu steak, A - taste, B - Beef
B: A - very tender lamb leg, B - taste just fine, A - mash potato
B: entree combinations, A - the mussel, B+, calamari & beef balls.
B: Greek Salad
